About Alzheimer
Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disease with a slow onset and progressive course over time.
Alzheimer’s disease afflicts 13 percent of people age 65 and older and 43 percent of those 85 and older.
Symptoms
The most common early symptom is loss of short-term memory, and as the disease progresses, symptoms may gradually include language impairment, disorientation (including easy disorientation), emotional instability, loss of motivation, and inability to care for oneself with many behavioral problems.
